This ministry provides the State-required PRIDE (Parents Resource for Information, Development and Education) course for all interested foster and adoptive parents. The Ministry is also connected with the Miami-Dade County Foster and Adoptive Parent Association as well as the Our Kids of Miami-Dade/Monroe County Inc. Foster/Adoption Support Line which is a 24/7 support line for our foster and adoptive parents.
The Fitness Ministry seeks to consistently address the three components of health and fitness: Cardiovascular, Muscular and Proper Nutrition. This is achieved through the conducting of weekly exercise classes and through periodic health and fitness seminars and fairs, in which individuals can get a hands-on, practical experience of how to glorify God by being a good steward of their bodies, while simultaneously improving their quality of life. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2)
“And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.” (Exodus 18:20) The Legal Ministry’s mission is to educate and inform our Church family and the surrounding community on legal issues and concerns which impact our lives. This is accomplished by providing forums, workshops and lectures in the hopes of enlightening and empowering the Body of Christ. The Legal ministry is open to all members with a desire and commitment to serve.
The vision of men’s ministry is to build the kingdom of God through our mutual love for Jesus Christ and to encourage each other to be servant leaders in our families, church and community. The vision will be realized through Sunday worship experience, Spiritual and Discipleship development activities such as small group Bible Studies, Empowerment retreats, Outreach supporting community missions, Charities and Evangelism, Service to youth through Mentorship and Educational programs and Service to Seniors through home maintenance projects.
The ministry committees, Membership Recruitment, Fundraising, Education, Fellowship, Craftsman and Prison Ministry, provide a cross section of opportunities which we pray will lead men to consider joining the ministry and use their gifts and skills to advance the mission of the church and their own personal improvement.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”(PSALM133: 1)

Teachers (Sunday School)
We place a high priority on Christian Education and the continued growth of students of all ages, spiritually, academically, physically, and emotionally. Teachers must serve as invaluable instructors and models of Christian living for students. We commit to having teachers, who have been called by God to teach and train them academically, attitudinally, and relationally on biblical precepts and principles.
This ministry creates the kind of support system that will allow women to bind together in their strength and weaknesses. It is our goal that adequate support systems, through counseling, spiritually directed focus groups, and missions will meet the needs of women. We address these needs through: Outreach – Seasonal events, missions, women’s night out and community service; Service – Hospitality and mentorship programs; Spiritual Growth – Retreats, Prayer, Bible studies, Seminars. God calls us to do God’s will in God’s kingdom. As sisters, we must seek, we must reach, and we must support each other and we must demonstrate the fruit of God’s Gospel and His kingdom.
